Red Hammer

With the bird series I was enjoying what they looked like, but not wanting to express them in a photographic way. My goal was to explore colour and retain resemblance.. you would look and think, yes! Thats a wood pecker or.. a coo coo bird.

In this case we have the Red Headed Wood Pecker.
