RACHEL MOSS is one of the designers for The ARTHOUSE Jamaica. Rachel Moss was born in Jamaica and started illustrating and painting at an early age. Moving to England to further her studies, she completed a 1st class BA Hon. Degree in Animation at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design University College (UCA), Surrey, England in 2004 and returned to Jamaica to pursue her career as an illustrator, graphic designer, animator and painter. Rachel’s work ranges from pen illustrations to acrylic on canvas.

She has exhibited in various exhibitions across the Caribbean and Jamaica, and was awarded a gold medal and merit in the JCDC Exhibition in 2006. She was awarded 1st place in the CPTC Digital Arts Festival for her piece, “Imagination”.

Rachel lectures part-time at the Edna Manley College of the Visual Arts. She offers art tutorials and illustrates children’s books.

Her gift for visual storytelling is evident in her work. Her illustrations convey the vibrant energy of the island’s people, village life and culture, and bring a smile to the face of the viewer.

HEATHER SUTHERLAND WADE is a designer and Fine Art painter. She was born in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica and studied Advertising Art in Alberta, Canada. She has exhibited her Acrylic paintings in many countries in North America, Europe and the Far East.

She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Jamaica, Barbados, United States, Canada, China and Italy.
