Main Street, Port Antonio

Visiting Port Antonio is always a treat for me, as I always find myself attracted to the older buildings. Their architecture, colour, and history are all so pleasing to the eye. On this occasion, I was fortunate enough to be there at the beginning of another market day. The street was coming alive as the numerous 'hand-carts' jostled their way in and out of the traffic, transporting produce or finding a place to park as they waited for the next trek. The pedestrian shoppers were coming out looking for the early bargain. As the sound of voices began to get louder, you knew it would be a well-attended market day.
